Starting in 1989 I began my college career at Georgia College in Milledgeville, Georgia.  Also, at this time I dedicated my life to herpetology(study of reptiles and amphibians).  I was fortunate to be taken under the wing of Dr. Dennis Parmley who guided and nurtured my education through the completion of my masters degree in science in 1996.  My science teaching career began in 1994 and ran the gambit from lecturer in biology & comparative animal behavior at Georgia College and Georgia Military College to teaching freshman level science at Rivers and Scott State Prisons.  The last few years I have taught in several public school systems throughout Texas.

I was just about ready to give up on education (thanks to the suffocating restrictions of the the public schools) when I found Winston.

The Winston School instantly renewed my belief in the educational system.

I am married to my high school sweetheart, Juile.  We have two wonderful boys Drew and Riley.
